The EXPSR600-INS is a hygienic, insulated stainless steel manhole, designed for sanitary process systems with high standards for safety, temperature control, and user-friendly operation.

The manhole has an inside diameter of 600 mm and is designed in accordance with EN 14460. It has been tested and certified to withstand explosion pressures of up to 0.6 barg.

The EXPSR600-INS is designed for hot process environments and optimized to ensure even airflow. Its design allows for additional insulation of up to 200 mm and helps maintain a stable process temperature.

Ergonomic opening and closing

The specially designed hinge automatically supports the weight of the insulated cover. This makes opening and closing easier and more controlled, while reducing the physical strain on the operator.

Increased safety for the operator

The cover is secured with four safety bolts and supported by the hinge during operation. This ensures safer handling during inspection and maintenance.

The operator does not need to lift or position the heavy, insulated cover separately, as the hinge holds it in place throughout the entire opening process.

Easy access during inspections

The integrated hinge makes it easy to open the manhole and access the process vessel. After inspection or maintenance, the cover can be closed again without heavy lifting or separate handling.

Simple and precise adjustment

An oval adjustment screw allows you to adjust the hinge quickly and precisely. Proper mechanical adjustment ensures smooth operation, proper closing, and a reliable seal.
