EXPR600T Pressure-Operated Door Frame

The EXPR600T is a stainless steel pressure vessel, designed and manufactured in accordance with EN 13445 for operating pressures up to 6 barg.

The manhole has an internal diameter of 600 mm and was designed in accordance with hygienic design principles. The structure is fully drainable and well-suited for demanding process facilities where safe access and easy maintenance are essential.

The ergonomic opening system reduces the force required to open and close the cover and ensures safe and comfortable handling during operation and maintenance.

Top-mounted single sash with spring hinge

For a top-mounted window sash, Leopold Parts does not use a standard hinge. Instead, a spring hinge is used, in which the spring relieves the load and bears a large portion of the cover’s weight. This means that even a heavy cover becomes significantly easier and more controlled to open and close.

The spring-loaded hinge is particularly important on the tank top, where the employee might otherwise be strained by having to lift the cover upward. This solution reduces the force required to operate the lid and makes daily access easier. There must still be a secure footing, sufficient space around the opening, and a work procedure that accounts for the risks of falls and entrapment.
