Description

STABILITY DURING WELDING

The traditional tank connector has four “grooves,” which introduce weak points in the structure.

During T-welding, heat is applied, and the four “grooves” cause the structure to contract and become warped.

During fabrication, time is spent straightening Tank Connectors after welding, but 100% straightness relative to the pre-weld condition is rarely achieved.

Our CS-Connector is designed to remain stable during the welding process, which increases its strength and reliability.

At the same time, time is saved during manufacturing, as our CS-Connector does not become warped after welding and therefore does not need to be straightened.

100% HYGIENIC DESIGN

The tank connectors currently in stock are manufactured to the ASME standard, but the clamps used in Europe are typically designed to the DIN or SMS standard.

The ASME, DIN, and SMS standards are not 100% geometrically compatible, which means that there is a ridge left on the inside that can trap impurities if an ASME tank connector is used with a DIN or SMS clamp.

Our CS-Connector is manufactured and stocked specifically to meet DIN and SMS standards, ensuring that the connector and piping system have exactly the same internal diameter, thereby guaranteeing a 100% hygienic design.

TRANSPARENT QUALITY DOCUMENTATION

With the CS-Connector, in addition to EN 10204 3.1 material certificates, a component certificate in accordance with EN 13445 and PED 2014/68/EC will be provided.

The TÜV design approval can be downloaded from the website.

The tank manufacturer can include the TÜV approval directly in its design documentation and thus does not need to perform separate calculations for the CS-Connector.

EASY, INTUITIVE INSTALLATION

When TIG welding the traditional Tank Connector, the welder must measure the distance between the bolts to ensure that all Tank Connectors are oriented with the locking rings in a vertical position.

Our CS-Connector simply needs to be oriented with the drain hole facing down; this makes it easy to position the CS-Connector correctly and consistently during TIG welding.

DRAIN HOLE WITH QUICKLEAK DETECTION

Drain hole with leak detection feature: The traditional Tank Connector has four “slots” that allow the top of the clamp to be drained.

Our CS-Connector includes a drain hole that covers both the top of the clamp and the joint itself.

This ensures drainability as well as direct leak detection, providing increased reliability and enabling faster troubleshooting during operation.

HIGHER PRESSURE CLASS

The traditional Tank Connector is only approved for PN7, whereas many tanks have a design pressure exceeding 7 bar.

Our CS-Connector is approved for PN16, i.e., 16 bar.
